Heaven On Earth Cake

Ingredients:

* 1 angel food cake, prepared

* 1 package (3.4 oz) instant cheesecake pudding mix

* 1 1/2 cups milk

* 1 cup sour cream (or plain Greek yogurt)

* 1 teaspoon vanilla

* 1 pack (30 ounces) cherry pie filling

* 1 container (8 ounces) cold whisk

* 1 tablespoon roasted almond slices (optional)

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the Cake

Cut the angel food cake into bite-sized cubes and set aside.

Step 2: Make the Pudding Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix, milk, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), and vanilla until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

Step 3: Assemble the Layers

In a 13×9-inch baking dish, place half of the cake cubes evenly across the bottom.

Spread half of the cherry pie filling over the cake cubes.

Add the remaining cake cubes on top to form a second layer.

Pour the pudding mixture evenly over the top, spreading to cover the cake.

Step 4: Finish the Topping

Spoon the whipped topping over the pudding layer, smoothing it into an even layer.

Spread the remaining cherry pie filling across the top.

Step 5: Chill and Serve

Cover and refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours, or until fully chilled.

Just before serving, sprinkle with toasted almond slices, if desired.

Step 6: Enjoy!
