How to make Chicken And Bacon Brown Sugar Garlic
Ingredients
6 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
⅔ cup dark brown sugar, packed
3 tbsp garlic, freshly minced
12 slices of bacon
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350*
Spray a nonstick baking pan with nonstick spray
In a large bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic, salt and pepper
Mix until it is all combined
Coat each piece of chicken in the sugar mixture
Wrap each piece of chicken with two slices of uncooked bacon, placing the ends of the bacon under the chicken.
Place the chicken into the baking pan
Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top of the chicken pieces
Cook for 25 to 30 minutes, check the chicken at the 20 minute mark to see if it is done, then again at 25 minutes.
You do not want to overcook the chicken or have it in the oven so long that the sugar turns black.
Enjoy!
