How to make Crescents with Cream Cheese Sausage

Ingredients

1 pound ground breakfast sausage, pork or turkey

8 ounces of cream cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

2 rolls of crescent dough

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375*

In a large skillet, crumble and brown the sausage until the meat is cooked thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper.

Add the cream cheese to the sausage after draining the fat off.

Stir until melted and remove from the heat

Lightly spray a 9×13 baking pan

Unroll one can of the crescent dough and place at the bottom of the pan, stretch if necessary

Spoon the meat mixture over the layer of crescent dough

Top the meat mixture with the other roll of crescent roll dough.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the crescent roll dough is lightly browned.

Cut into squares

Enjoy!
