Teriyaki chicken is an Asian favorite for many people. You should not be afraid of making your own Teriyaki Sauce. It is not as intimidating as it seems. The best part about this Teriyaki sauce is that it can be used as both the marinade and the Teriyaki Sauce. There is no need to waste the marinade. Put it into a saucepan and bring it to a boil, then lower to a simmer. This process makes the sauce safe to use as a glaze or the sauce.
There are a few different ways that this recipe can be cooked. You can stir fry, cook it on the stove top, use your slow cooker or bake it in the oven. It is not going to matter how you cook it, it will taste the same. Serve it with extra sauce, sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
You can serve it with a side of Basmati rice, and serve it with steamed vegetables. You can use it to cover salads with (as the dressing) or slice the chicken pieces and serve it on a piece of flatbread or on a hard roll.
I serve this Teriyaki Chicken with a variety of options. Not the same and not all of them at the same time. We prefer to have lo mein on the side, along with a scoop of fried rice. I also like to have some beef and broccoli once in a while with the Teriyaki.

3 pounds fowl top (higher) part of the leg (Boneless, skinless)
1 cup soybean plant dressing
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Five unopened flowers of tree (s) garlic (3 – 5 unopened flowers of the tree, squashed
1 Ginger root (2 – 3 cuts, Cut flimsy and longwise)
Instructions
Combine the water and soy sauce, then add the sugar and stir until it dissolves
Add in the ginger and the garlic
Add in the chicken pieces
Soak in the marinade for 24 hours to 3 days total
After you complete marinating the chicken, place it on a grill and cook it as you would any meat
Place a pot on the grill, add the marinade to the pan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat, or move the pan so that it simmers.
When the chicken pieces are done grilling, place them into the pan with the marinade.
This will help to steam the meat, which makes it even juicer.
Serve with a plate of lo mein noodles or rice, garnish with chopped green onion and enjoy.
