How to make Quesadillas With Homemade Queso Blanco
Ingredients:
Queso
a half pound of white American cheese
2 TBSP of chopped green chili
2 TBSP chopped pickled jalapenos
1 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of cumin
half of a can of rotel
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup of water
3 TBSP of the pickled jalapeno juice
Quesadillas
4 chicken breast
3 TBSP of bistec carne asada seasoning
2 TBSP garlic and onion powder
2 TBSP sazon perfecta
1/4 cup of oil
1 red and 1 green bell pepper
half of an onion
a large flour tortilla
Instructions:
Queso:
In a bowl add a half pound of white American cheese, 2 TBSP of chopped green chili, 2 TBSP chopped pickled jalapenos, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin, half of a can of rotel, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of water, and 3 TBSP of the pickled jalapeno juice.
Microwave and stir occasionally until creamy.
Quesadillas
I use 4 chicken breast I cut into small chunks, season with 3 TBSP of bistec carne asada seasoning, 2 TBSP garlic and onion powder, 2 TBSP sazon perfecta.
Mix well and fry in a 1/4 cup of oil until done. I also rough chop 1 red and 1 green bell pepper, half of an onion.
Saute for 5 minutes,
Assemble The Quesadillas
On a heated cast iron comal I lightly toast a large flour tortilla flip and spread your queso
Top the queso with your vegetable medley and chicken.
Fold, and toast and flip.
