How to make Strawberries And Cream Lush
Ingredients
1 cup mixed nuts, finely chopped
1 cup Nilla Wafer Cookies, chopped fine
1 stick butter, unsalted, melted
1 cup Confectioners Sugar
8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
1 large tub Cool Whip Whipped Topping
2 small boxes instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups whole milk, 2% is okay too
1 quart fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
Crush the mixed nuts and the Nilla Wafer cookies in a blender on pulse until you achieve a medium fine crumb
Add in the melted butter and pulse until combined
Place the crumb mixture into a 9×13 cake pan and press down using a flat bottom glass. Be sure to make the layer even
In a medium bowl combine the Confectioners Sugar, 1 ½ cups of Cool whip and the cream cheese.
Beat until smooth
Pour this over the crust mix, in an even layer
In another bowl combine the milk and the instant pudding mix, beat until the pudding is formed
Layer this over the Cream cheese mix in the pan
Place a layer of sliced strawberries over the pudding layer, save some of the strawberries to put on the top as a garnish
Cover with the remaining Cool Whip evenly.
Chop some of the remaining strawberries and sprinkle over the top of the whipped topping layer
You may also want to sprinkle some of the cookie crumb crust mix on the top
