Taco Grilled Cheese Sandwich

How to make Taco Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients

4 tsp chili powder

2 tsp ground cumin

½ tsp garlic powder

½ tsp paprika

½ tsp dried oregano

½ tsp seasoned salt

¼ tsp black pepper

1 loaf of bread

Prepared ground beef mixed with taco seasoning

Prepared guacamole

8 ounces Cheddar Cheese

8 ounces Monterey Jack Cheese

3 small tomatoes, sliced or diced

4 tbsp softened butter

Instructions

Brown the ground beef and drain when cooked fully

Add ¼ to ½ cup water and the seasonings listed, stir well and simmer for 10 minutes

To assemble the sandwich, butter the outsides of two slices of bread,

Sprinkle with an ounce of Cheddar cheese

Place a layer of taco meat on top of the cheese

On the other slice of bread, place an ounce of Monterey Jack cheese on the unbuttered side of the bread in the pan

Top with sliced or diced tomatoes, guacamole

Carefully check the undersides of the bread and see if it is browned

If it is, using a spatula lift one out and set on the cutting board

Lift the other half of the sandwich and carefully flip over on top of the first slice

Slice it in a diagonal method and serve with dipping sauce.
