Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 ½ tsp Worcestershire Sauce

2 ½ tsp Chili Powder

½ tsp ground mustard

2 tbsp Tomato Paste

1 yellow onion, diced

1 green bell pepper, diced

15 ounces diced tomatoes, drained

½ cup uncooked long grain white rice

1 cup water

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp Olive Oil

Cheddar Cheese, shredded for topping

Instructions

Heat a skillet over medium high heat and add the Olive Oil

Add the ground beef and crumble, add in the onion and the green pepper, Cook until the ground beef is thoroughly cooked and the vegetables have softened.

Drain the excess grease from the skillet

Reduce the heat and add in the garlic, the chili powder, ground mustard and the salt and pepper

Mix in the tomato paste and rice

Stir to combine all together

Pour in the water, Worcestershire Sauce and the drained tomatoes

Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes

Remove the lid and add the cheese, replace the cover for five minutes

Remove the lid and stir well before serving
