Buckeye Dip
Buckeye Dip
Ingredients
2 (8-oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1½ cups powdered sugar
1½ cups creamy peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 (8-oz) tub whipped topping, thawed
1½ cups mini chocolate chips
1 (7-oz) bottle Magic Shell (chocolate shell topping)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Base
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth, fluffy, and free of lumps.
Step 2: Add Peanut Butter and Vanilla
Mix in the creamy peanut butter and vanilla extract, blending until the mixture is silky and well combined.
Step 3: Fold in the Lightness
Using a spatula, gently fold in the thawed whipped topping and mini chocolate chips. Stir just until incorporated—avoid overmixing to keep the dip airy.
Step 4: Spread into Dish
Transfer the mixture into a pie dish or an 8×8-inch pan. Smooth the surface into an even layer.
Step 5: Add the Chocolate Shell
Drizzle the Magic Shell topping evenly over the surface. Use the back of a spoon to spread it into a thin, smooth coating.
Step 6: Chill and Serve
Refrigerate for 30–40 minutes, or until the chocolate sets into a firm shell. Serve cold with pretzels, vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or fresh fruit for dipping.
