How to make Chicken Alfredo Lasagna
Ingredients
3 cups of cooked, shredded chicken
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves minced garlic
10 ounces fresh baby spinach
4 cups of heavy cream
15 lasagna noodles (precooked or oven ready)
1 ½ tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated finely
15 ounces of ricotta cheese
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
Put 2 tbsp of unsalted butter in a skillet heated on medium high, add in the onion and garlic. Saute until translucent.
Add the spinach and stir until the spinach wilts
Add the 4 cups of heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, the ricotta cheese and the chicken
When the cream comes to a slight simmering stage, remove the pan from the heat, stir well and set to the side.
In the bottom of a sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan, spoon a layer of the sauce mix and top with a layer of the noodles, spread some filling mix on that and sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat Step 5 until you are out of the filling mix, or you can no longer add another layer in the pan.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 350* oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
Remove the foil and let sit under the low broil setting for two minutes to brown the top cheese.
Enjoy!
