How to make Pork Chop With Apple Bake
Ingredients
2 or 3 Apples, peeled and sliced
¼ cup Butter, unsalted
⅓ cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp nutmeg
½ tbsp Cornstarch, (optional)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Rosemary for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350*
Place sliced apples in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish
Sprinkle with ½ tsp cinnamon and ¼ tsp nutmeg
Place the pork Chops on top of the apple slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired
In a saucepan on the stove top, combine the butter and the brown sugar
Then stir in the remaining cinnamon sugar and nutmeg
If you want the sauce thicker, combine the cornstarch in with the butter and brown sugar
Pour the mixture over the pork chops and sliced apples
Place in the oven for 35 to 40 minutes
Remove from the oven when the pork is cooked thoroughly
Sprinkle with the Rosemary and Serve hot
