How to make Creamed Chipped Beef
Ingredients
°1 jar of dried beef steaks well washed and chopped
°4 tbsp butter
°4 tbsp flour
°2 cups milk
°Sea salt and fresh pepper to taste
°Toast
Instructions:
Rinse the dried beef steaks well – they’re so salty! Once rinsed thoroughly, dry with a paper towel.
Cut the beef into small-sized pieces. Set aside.
Heat the butter in the large pot over medium heat.
Add the flour and a pinch of chilli to the melted butter and whisk until well combined and cooked, about 45 seconds.
Add milk very slowly while whisking constantly.
Once all the milk is added, add the dried beef chopped.
Cook, stirring occasionally, for a few minutes, until condensed.
Taste and season with sea salt and fresh pepper, as desired, if necessary.
Serve over dry toast immediately.
