Pork Chops With Irresistible Honey Garlic Sauce
How to make Pork Chops With Irresistible Honey Garlic Sauce
Ingredients:
6 Pork Loin Chops trimmed
2 eggs beaten
4 tbsp. water
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground sage
1 ½ tbsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. paprika
1 tsp thyme
Sauce:
4 cloves garlic freshly minced
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
1 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, sage, ginger, nutmeg, paprika, and thyme until well combined.
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and add water. Stir together to create an egg wash.
Dip each pork chop into the flour mixture, then into the egg wash, and back into the flour mixture, ensuring the chops are fully coated.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with 2 tbsp of canola oil. Fry the pork chops for 5 to 6 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain them on a wire rack to preserve their crispy texture.
In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, honey, soy sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are blended together.
Once the excess grease has been drained from the pork chops, dip each chop into the garlic and honey sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Place the sauced pork chops on a plate and serve them alongside your favorite side dish.
Notes:
For a healthier alternative, you can use olive oil instead of canola oil for frying.
Experiment with the spices in the flour mixture to suit your taste preferences.
Serve these crispy pork chops with a side of mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh green salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
